In the spirit of "Facts are Fun" (yes I am going to be that nerd) let me tell you about Hot Toddies and Left Handed People. Hot Toddies is a mix drink invented in the 18th century to supposedly make scotch more palatable for women. The Hot Toddies break through on the Noise this month with "Photosynthesis". Their intrepid whacky, sort of off the wall, style implies that these hot toddies drink their scotch straight. 60% of our nations presidents have been left handed. That is fitting considering Scissors For Lefty's indie anthem "Ornamental" is inspiring like a presidential speech. I feel like I should actually do something after listening to it like I felt after Obama's speech. Yes we can but how 'bout I let you do it. This month we also introduce Classic tracks on the Noise taking you back to 1996 with the titled track Stupid Song off of the album The Barlight Beauty by Rocko Schwab. I would tell you all about how the CD has a movie "The douche bag murders" on it and really wicked cover art work and lay out but it seems frivolous considering I have no idea how you would get your hands on it aside from asking Rocko for one personally.
